Easter Eggs!

Easter Crafts!

Michael was sad about all of the Easter Egg Dishes...

Kali, Alina and Garrison Dying Eggs.

Lots of fun!

Showing off the finished eggs.

Garrison was being so methodical.

Bunny Ears!

Kali wanted to have an Easter egg dying party with Alina and Garrison (her cousins), on Saturday before Easter and then a sleepover. The kids had a great time with the eggs, then everyone went to bed early to wait for the Easter bunny to come.
Luckily the Easter bunny made it because we woke up on Sunday morning to snow!
It snowed for most of the day, forcing our egg hunt indoors.
Poor Michael had to work and he missed the Easter party! :(
Sarah also missed the Easter party because she was snowed in. :(
I am so lame and I didn't take any pics on Easter Day!
We had a great lunch of ham, eggs, Flo's fantastic potato salad, broccoli salad and fruit salad!
Kali and I really enjoyed the day with the Smith's, Hagiwara's, Ghiazza's and friends!

Westside Choir Concert

Kali was excited because she got to stand on a riser and not on the floor like she usually does!

Putting on her "Thinking Cap."

All ready to go!

Kali joined choir this year and has been working hard after school on Mondays practicing with the Howbert Choir. On Wednesday she participated in the Westside Choir Concert with her choir (and other choirs throughout the westside) including Holmes and Coronado. I missed the concert (darn night shift) but Michael went solo and said that all of the kids did a great job.

Kali - Digg It Musical

A scene with the "main actors".
Kali hamming it up for her parents and both sets of Grandparents.

Kali onstage...it's great that she's short because we got a front row seat and great pics of Kali.

(Kali posing at the house in her costume)

On Tuesday Kali had her yearly Choir Musical with the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. I waited until the last minute to finish her costume and when she tried it on it was too big! Who would have thought that a size 4-6 would be too big on an eight year old, so I had to make some very last minute adjustments on it.
The kids did a great job with the musical and we had fun watching all of them!

End of Spring Break

Kali on the giant cow outside of the museum.
Catherine and Baby Keegan playing with the trains at the Children's Museum and catching his first cold. (Sorry Baby Keegan!)

Kali Grocery Shopping at the Children's Museum.

Yeah! Kali is back in school after Spring Break.

Spring Break this year entailed working (for Michael and I), Snow for all of Colorado, the Children's Museum, and playdates for Kali.

Luckily I did not get stuck at the hospital extra during the Blizzard and made it there and back safely.
